Since 2018, we have been the proud partner of Laurents Hörr from Stuttgart, one of the most promising talents in international motor sport. With our support, the 23-year-old has successfully managed to break into long-distance prototype motor sport. He was able to win the championship title in the Michelin Le Mans Cup in just his second year. In 2020, Laurents Hörr entered the Michelin Le Mans Cup again with the successful Luxembourg DKR Engineering team and defended his title after a sensational season. This makes Laurents the first driver ever to secure two successive titles in this international field of top performers.
This year we extended our collaboration again and together we are now headed for the passing lane in the European long-distance championship, the European Le Mans Series (ELMS).
Impressive Start to the Season Despite Obstacles
The season start in Barcelona was complicated due to the blockage in the Suez Canal. Because of the delay, the team’s sea container did not arrive in Europe from the Asian Le Mans Series until the very last minute. It also meant that the team had to start the pre-tests with less equipment and a replacement vehicle from the French prototype manufacturer Duqueine, which they were given virtually overnight.
But these conditions did not stop Laurents and his team. He delivered an outstanding performance in his neutral-black car, driving the fastest lap time in each of the pre-tests on April 12 and 13.

Laurents Hörr also showed just what phenomenal skills he has at the wheel in the first race in Barcelona on April 18. In the middle of the 4-hour race, before regulations required him to hand over his vehicle to his team partner, he dominated the entire field of the LMP3 category with a lead of almost a lap. He also drove the fastest lap in the entire race. But his partner was unable to keep up with the pace of the field, and in the end, they only managed fifth place out of 17 top-flight teams.
The next dates are:
